Dr. McMillian has 30 years of experience providing psychological services for individuals experiencing cognitive and emotional difficulties. She was the clinical director for an outpatient mental health and substance abuse center in Northern Michigan covering four areas in Petoskey, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, and Bellaire, Michigan. She has taught at Grand Valley State University, School of Social Work (adjunct faculty) teaching primary clinical courses (psychopathology & the individual) at the graduate level. Dr. McMillian has provided clinical field instruction for graduate students from Michigan State University, Grand Valley State University, and East Carolina University. She is member of the National Association of Social Workers, American Psychological Association, and the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work
